Hand Painting Fiber
How I dye my multicoloured 'top' - unspun commercially combed fiber. I use this technique to get very specific colour placements. The important key in this is to use a rolling motion with the hand to squeeze the dye through the fiber and avoid any felting, this is much better than tapping or squashing the dye into the fiber.
